Big Knit for Peace 2018

Last year a number of residents had great fun knitting some beautiful and very individual Twiddlemuffs which were donated to North Walsham War Memorial hospital.

It was so successful that villagers would like to do something similar this year and several people have suggested Knit for Peace (see website for more information, patterns, etc).

Adult hats, scarves and blankets (made out of squares) are particularly needed. Knitted items will need to be ready by early December so they can be packed up and sent off in time for Christmas.

If you would like to get involved, contact Mary Forrest-Hill.

A coffee morning will be organised to ‘launch’ the event towards the end of September (date to be confirmed) and a completion celebration coffee morning in December.
